Nickel vintage ring, mid-20th century, Soviet Union, size O .
About this piece
A sculptural Soviet ring with a striking modernist leaf motif, rendered in nickel with a burnished finish. The bold asymmetric design features a curved blade-like form sweeping upward from the band, paired with a decorative spherical element set below. The polished contrasts beautifully against the textured background, giving the piece real presence on the hand.
In UK size O, the ring sits comfortably and makes a confident statement. The metalwork shows the period’s characteristic blend of organic form and geometric precision—typical of mid-20th-century Eastern European design. The surface bears light patina consistent with age and wear, which adds character without compromising wearability. We recommend occasional gentle cleaning with a soft cloth to maintain its lustre.
