The face is a generous rectangular panel, deeply framed by symmetrical scrolled shoulders on each side, each carved with a scalloped fan or shell motif — hallmarks of Soviet metalcraft from the 1960s–70s. The face itself is blank, ready for engraving or monogramming, making it a versatile choice for personalisation.
The metal shows the warm patina of age and careful wear; the gold plating has mellowed unevenly, particularly on the high points of the shoulders, which is natural for a ring of this age and use.
