Wonderful vintage sterling silver children’s bracelet.
About this piece
A charming vintage sterling silver bangle bracelet, designed with a hinged opening and a neat push-clasp closure for safe, easy fastening. The face of the bracelet features a crisp crosshatch or basket-weave texture that catches the light beautifully, while the reverse is smooth and polished. The band tapers slightly towards the opening, creating an elegant, understated silhouette.
This is an ideal piece for a child or someone with a slighter wrist, and the hinge-and-clasp construction is both practical and characteristic of children’s and smaller bracelets from the mid-twentieth century. The silver shows only light wear consistent with gentle use; the clasp operates smoothly. A simple, hardwearing design that suits everyday wear or special occasions alike. We recommend storing it in a soft pouch to preserve the polish, and occasional gentle cleaning with silver cloth will keep it bright.
