Vintage Soviet ussr silver 800 ring Uk size R
About this piece
A striking modernist ring from the Soviet era, crafted in 800 silver with a fluid, organic design. The sculptural curved band sweeps upward from a bezel-set stone—likely a diamond or diamante, given its brilliant sparkle and round faceted cut. The sinuous form is characteristic of mid-century Soviet jewellery design, where sculptural geometry met precious materials. In UK size R, it sits comfortably as a statement piece.
The silver shows gentle surface wear consistent with vintage wear and age, with a pleasant soft patina that speaks to its authenticity. The stone remains secure and well-set. Soviet 800 silver is slightly less pure than sterling (which is 925), but was a standard hallmark of quality Soviet metalwork. A piece that rewards being worn and admired.
