vintage english sterling silver enamel windsor castle fob charm pendant bracelet
About this piece
A charming heraldic pendant capturing Windsor Castle and its coat of arms in polished sterling silver and vibrant enamel work. The shield displays a quartered design: green field with a silver cross and crown at the top, red field with the castle’s distinctive crenellated outline in the centre, and a deep blue base band inscribed ‘WINDSOR’ in white capitals. The whole is framed by an ornate scrolled silver cartouche with a loop for suspension.
Enamelling of this quality—sharp colour definition, no crazing or lifting—suggests mid-twentieth-century British craftsmanship, likely from a London maker. The piece would have served as a fob charm for a watch chain, key ring or bracelet, and remains in excellent condition with only minor surface wear to the silver consistent with age and gentle use. A charming memento of a celebrated royal residence.
