A silver ring with a peridot, size N
About this piece
This silver solitaire ring showcases a lovely bright green peridot cut in a classic round brilliant, held secure in an eight-point star setting that frames the stone beautifully. The setting is characteristic of traditional solitaire design, with the band tapered slightly as it approaches the stone. In UK size N, it sits comfortably as an everyday piece or a gentle statement ring.
The silver shows the warm patina of wear — evidence of time on the hand — though the structure remains sound and the stone sits firm. Peridot is a relatively soft stone (7.5 on the Mohs scale), so we’d recommend removing the ring during heavy work or contact sports, and cleaning it gently with warm soapy water and a soft cloth rather than any abrasive method. A lovely, wearable vintage find for those drawn to green gemstones.
