Grape Uk size R vintage Soviet Sterling silver ring
About this piece
A charming Soviet-era ring in sterling silver, modelled as a generous bunch of grapes with naturalistic leaves. The sculptural cluster sits proudly above the band, catching light beautifully from every angle. The metalwork is crisp and detailed, with each grape rendered as a distinct bead and the foliage finely chased. In UK size R, it makes a statement without overwhelming the hand.
The silver shows the warm patina of age and wear consistent with regular wear over decades — the high points of the grapes retain their polish whilst the recesses hold a gentle darkening that lends depth and character. A small loop dangles from the base of the cluster, a charming Soviet-era detail that hints at a pendant conversion or charm attachment. The ring is in excellent condition with no damage or loss. We recommend occasional gentle cleaning with a soft cloth; avoid immersing in harsh chemicals.
