Soviet Union, 1950s
About this piece
A charming Soviet-era ring from the 1950s, featuring a trio of burgundy glass flowers arranged in a clustered floral design. The blooms are glossy and richly coloured, their petals catching the light beautifully. The setting is brass or gold-plated base metal, cast with decorative loops and filigree detailing around the flower cluster, typical of mid-century Eastern European costume jewellery.
In UK size N, this sits comfortably as a statement piece. The ring shows honest age and use—the plating is worn in places, revealing the brass beneath, and the flowers show surface marks and slight dulling consistent with decades of wear. These signs of life add to its authenticity and charm. We’d recommend storing it away from damp and wiping gently with a soft cloth to maintain its appearance.
