Size Q, vintage 925 sterling silver ring, natural carnelian ()
About this piece
A handsome mid-century ring set with a smooth, polished cabochon of natural carnelian in warm honey-orange tones. The stone is bezel-set in sterling silver and framed by shoulders cast in a bold geometric lattice pattern — characteristic of that era’s confidence in bold form. The shank tapers gently towards the back, making it comfortable to wear.
In UK size Q, the ring sits substantial on the hand without feeling heavy. The carnelian is clean and lustrous, its warm glow deepening in soft light. The silver shows minor surface wear consistent with vintage wear — the patina gives it character rather than detracting from it. The hallmark confirms 925 sterling. We recommend gentle warm water and mild soap for cleaning; avoid prolonged soaking or ultrasonic cleaners, which can stress older settings.
