STERLING SILVER VINTAGE WHITNEY KELLY TURQUOISE DOUBLET RING SIZE m1/2
About this piece
A striking statement ring from Whitney Kelly, set with a faceted turquoise doublet in a bold oval bezel. The stone sits proud, its checkered faceting and layered construction catching the light beautifully. The band is substantial sterling silver, with a squared shoulder design that frames the stone elegantly. In UK size M½, it’s a confident piece that commands attention on the hand.
Turquoise doublets—a thin layer of precious turquoise bonded to a backing stone—were favored by mid-century makers for their colour intensity and durability. Whitney Kelly pieces are recognized for their confident proportions and quality silverwork. The ring shows the honest patina of wear: some surface marks to the silver and minor cloudiness within the stone, consistent with everyday vintage use. It remains structurally sound and wearable. A simple buff with a soft cloth will restore shine to the silver; avoid prolonged water exposure to protect the doublet.
