800 Silver Cut Out Scroll Design Snap Closure Hoop Earrings Soviet time
About this piece
A charming pair of 800 silver hoops, crafted in the Soviet era with a distinctive cut-out scroll pattern across the lower crescent. The openwork design — delicate filigree-style scrolls — catches light beautifully and gives these earrings an elegant, vintage character. They feature classic curved ear wires with smooth snap closures, a secure and comfortable fitting style common to earrings of this period.
The metal shows the warm, slightly mellowed tone typical of 800 silver, with minor surface wear consistent with age and wear — entirely honest and expected for vintage pieces. The construction is substantial and well-finished. These earrings sit elegantly on the ear, neither too heavy nor delicate, and work equally well for everyday wear or dressing up. A gentle polish with a soft cloth will restore additional lustre if desired; store them separately to prevent tarnishing.
