Soviet sterling silver ring Uk size R
About this piece
A distinctive Soviet-era ring in sterling silver, crafted with a sculptural band that curves elegantly across the finger. The design features a central ridge flanked by radiating linear detailing on both sides, giving it a modernist, almost architectural quality. The metalwork is clean and substantial, with no stones or additional embellishment — the visual interest rests entirely on the form and the play of light across its ridged surface.
In UK size R, this ring sits comfortably and makes a quiet statement without demanding attention. The silver shows the patina of wear — a soft, lived-in lustre rather than mirror brightness — which adds character and authenticity. The band is smooth to wear and well-finished at the edges. A piece that reflects the pragmatic elegance of Soviet design, it pairs equally well with everyday wear or as a subtle accent to more formal dress. Light cleaning with warm soapy water will restore shine; store away from prolonged sunlight to preserve the patina.
