About this piece
This elegant cross pendant is crafted from 925 sterling silver with characteristic textured detailing across its surface. The design features a traditional Latin cross form with rounded, scalloped lobes at each terminal, giving it a softly ornamental quality. The central stem is smooth and tapers toward a small loop at the crown, allowing it to hang freely from a chain or cord.
The piece shows its age gracefully, with a matte patina and gentle wear that speaks to genuine vintage authenticity. The stippled, almost granulated finish across the lobes is typical of mid-twentieth-century ecclesiastical silverware, suggesting this may be a devotional piece from that era. It remains in very good condition — structurally sound with no cracks or repairs visible. To maintain its character and silver content, we recommend occasional gentle cleaning with a soft cloth; avoid aggressive polishing if you wish to preserve the vintage finish.
