About this piece
A compact sterling silver cross with ornamental detailing across the face and along the lobed edges, suspended from a smooth wire loop. The piece measures approximately 1 cm in height and is cast in solid silver, rendered in the manner of Orthodox religious jewellery — a style rooted in ecclesiastical tradition. The reverse shows Cyrillic text, suggesting Eastern European origin.
The cross sits in excellent condition, with surface patina consistent with age and gentle wear. The silvery finish is even, unmarked by significant scratching, and the loop attachment is secure. It hangs well from a chain and suits layering or solitary wear. A straightforward piece of devotional jewellery, both meaningful and understated.
