About this piece
A graceful band of sterling silver, ornamented with a filigree pattern of scrolls and flourishes across its face. The delicate openwork is characteristic of early to mid-twentieth-century jewellery, when such handcrafted metalwork was a hallmark of quality. In UK size O, it sits comfortably as a dress ring or statement piece on the middle or index finger.
The silver shows a warm patina consistent with vintage wear—light surface marks that speak to genuine age and handling, yet the band remains structurally sound and the filigree detailing crisp. The ring is substantial enough to hold its shape whilst remaining elegant and unwieldy. We recommend a gentle clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; for deeper restoration, a silver cloth will restore lustre without removing the character that age has bestowed.
