This is a vintage one-decade (pocket) rosary with a Padre Pio centre medal and a crucifix. It has ten faceted Czech fire-polished glass beads in warm amber with a beautiful iridescent AB finish, plus a single bead on the drop.

About this piece
A charming devotional rosary from the 1970s, centred on a Padre Pio medallion — the pre-canonisation wording confirms its era as a pilgrimage souvenir, likely from Italy. The medal bears Padre Pio’s portrait and is flanked by delicate silver-tone chain links.
The ten beads are faceted Czech fire-polished glass in warm amber with an iridescent AB (Aurora Borealis) finish that catches the light beautifully. These are strung on silver-tone chain, with a single matching bead suspended above the plain silver-tone crucifix. At approximately 13 cm total length, it is sized for pocket carry or prayer in hand. The metal shows only gentle patina consistent with age; the beads remain bright and the overall condition is excellent. A tender piece of personal faith and vintage craftsmanship.
