A magazine from 1975, Soviet era for your collection
About this piece
A Soviet-era political weekly magazine from 1970, titled Новое время (“New Time”). The cover features a striking photograph of a monumental statue set in a public square, with crowds of people gathered below — a characteristic image of Soviet civic life and state commemoration. The orange and cream typography and layout are typical of Soviet graphic design from this period.
The magazine is in excellent used condition, with the cover intact and lettering crisp. The spine shows natural wear from handling and storage, consistent with a publication that has been well-kept over five decades. Ideal for collectors of Soviet memorabilia, Cold War history, or vintage periodicals. A tangible record of Soviet publishing and visual culture during the height of the Cold War era.
