Aluminum ring, size S1/2, alien reptiloid
About this piece
This sculptural ring channels a distinctly extraterrestrial aesthetic with its sleek, layered form reminiscent of alien or reptilian features. Cast in lightweight aluminium, it features a bold organic design—sharp, tapered ridges and curved voids that catch the light and create dramatic shadow play. The metal shows a natural patina across its surface, lending character and depth to the piece.
In UK size S½, it’s a substantial statement ring that sits proudly on the finger. The construction appears mid-to-late 20th century, when such futuristic motifs flourished in costume jewellery and avant-garde design. The piece is in excellent used condition, with expected wear that only enhances its vintage presence. We recommend occasional gentle cleaning with a soft cloth; aluminium is durable but benefits from light care to maintain its finish.
