Chinese Ring, 925 Silver with Natural Carnelian, Size K
About this piece
This striking ring features a substantial polished carnelian stone in warm honey-brown tones, traditionally favoured in Chinese jewellery for its association with vitality and good fortune. The stone is cut in a bold, organic dome shape and mounted in a sterling silver setting with four elegant prong-style feet that lift it proudly from the band. In UK size K, it makes a confident statement piece that sits comfortably on the hand.
The carnelian displays the soft lustre typical of this microcrystalline quartz, with natural variation in tone that deepens towards amber in certain light. The sterling silver shows minor surface wear consistent with gentle use, whilst the stone itself remains unblemished and well-loved. This is jewellery designed to be worn and enjoyed; a piece that bridges East Asian design sensibility with Western wearability. A gentle polish with a soft cloth will keep both stone and silver gleaming.
