Cupronickel ring with a sulfur stone (possibly onyx)
About this piece
A striking cocktail ring in cupronickel, featuring a substantial faceted black stone—likely onyx or another dark mineral—set proud in a scrolled collet. The stone is cut with a high dome and geometric facets that catch the light beautifully. The band is decorated with a sweeping vine or leaf motif studded with small crystals or paste stones, lending it an elegant, mid-century character.
In UK size K, the ring sits comfortably as an everyday statement piece or occasional-wear cocktail ring. The metalwork shows gentle patina and minor surface wear consistent with light wear over time, which only adds to its vintage charm. We recommend a soft cloth for cleaning and storage in a dry place away from direct sunlight, which helps preserve the stone’s lustre and prevents any tarnishing of the cupronickel.
