Sterling Silver Ring – Size R (UK R / US 8½ / 18.7 mm inner diameter)
About this piece
A striking modernist ring in sterling silver, featuring a bold yin-yang motif rendered as two interlocking curved segments. The face is entirely textured with a fine granulated pattern that catches the light beautifully, creating depth and visual interest. The openwork design—where negative space frames the symbol—gives the piece an architectural quality, and the smooth, polished edges of the band provide pleasing contrast to the detailed centre.
In UK size R, this ring wears as a substantial statement piece without being unwieldy. The sterling silver has developed a natural patina consistent with age and wear, visible in the slightly darkened recesses of the texture; this adds authenticity and character. The band feels substantial and well-made. We recommend gentle cleaning with a soft cloth; a silver dip or silver polish will restore brightness if desired, though many prefer to preserve the patina. An everyday-to-smart-casual ring that rewards close inspection.
