Liquid Silver Beaded Earrings: Vintage Southwestern Long Dangles 6cm
About this piece
These elegant liquid silver earrings embody the fluid, sculptural aesthetic of Southwestern jewellery design. Each piece features a teardrop form composed of fine parallel strands of silver wire, arranged to create a graceful, open-work silhouette that catches light beautifully. The strands taper slightly towards a polished cap, from which a wire hook suspends the drop. At approximately 6 cm long, they make a confident statement without overwhelming the wearer.
Crafted in silver, the earrings show the hallmark construction technique of liquid silver work—individual wires bundled and shaped rather than cast as a solid form, allowing movement and flexibility. The hooks are neatly wrapped and appear well-engineered for comfort and durability. The overall condition is excellent; the silver retains good lustre with only the gentlest surface patina consistent with light, occasional wear. These are the kind of pieces that work equally well dressed up or layered into everyday jewellery.
