Massive vintage silver earrings with natural rhodolite
About this piece
A handsome pair of drop earrings in silver, each suspending a large oval cabochon of deep purple rhodolite garnet. The stones are polished smooth and catch the light beautifully, showing the characteristic warm plum-to-mauve tones typical of this variety. The silver setting is simple and elegant—a bezel frame around each stone, hung from a chunky curved post with a gentle twist detail.
These are generous in scale without being unwieldy, sitting comfortably on the ear. The condition is excellent: the silver retains its lustre with only light patina consistent with age and wear, and the rhodolite surfaces are clean and glossy with no chips or clouding.
