Mexican silver earrings with natural stones ~19
About this piece
A striking pair of drop earrings in the style of Mexican artisan jewellery, each featuring a smooth turquoise cabochon set within a fan-shaped framework. The design combines polished silver with enamel work in deep blues, rich greens and warm bronzed tones, arranged in a radiating geometric pattern characteristic of mid-twentieth-century Mexican silverwork. The posts are smooth sterling silver with simple curved terminals, and the weight hangs beautifully from the ear.
The turquoise stones are bright and even in colour, set securely in what appears to be silver bezels. The enamel sections show fine craftsmanship—the colour transitions and detailing suggest professional hand-finishing rather than mass production. In excellent condition, the earrings display only minor surface wear consistent with gentle wear over time; the enamel remains intact with no chips or significant scratching, and the silver retains good lustre throughout.
