Natural amethyst vintage sterling silver ring, size K
About this piece
A graceful vintage ring centred on a smoothly polished oval cabochon of natural amethyst, set in a bezel of sterling silver. The stone displays the characteristic soft purple tone of amethyst with subtle colour gradation, and sits proud within a gently rounded frame that speaks to mid-twentieth-century craft. The band is substantial and unadorned, tapering slightly towards the back.
In UK size K, this ring wears comfortably and sits securely on the hand. The silver shows gentle signs of age — light scratching and patina consistent with regular wear — whilst the amethyst remains bright and free from chips. A gentle polish with a soft cloth will bring up the lustre of both stone and metal. A classic piece that works equally well as an everyday wear or layered with other rings.
