About this piece
A charming pair of drop earrings in sterling silver, each suspending a polished amber stone within an organic wire frame. The design draws on folk jewellery traditions: delicate leaves sit atop the setting, and curling wire tendrils echo the form of a stylised fruit or seed pod. The amber cabochons glow warm honey-brown in bright light, with the deeper cognac tones visible in certain angles—characteristic of Baltic amber’s variation.
The silver work is hand-finished, with visible patina suggesting these are well-loved vintage pieces rather than newly made. Fish-hook ear wires in silver provide a secure, traditional closure. Care is simple: avoid prolonged water exposure and harsh chemicals, and store in a soft pouch to prevent the amber from scratching. These sit gently on the ear and suit both everyday wear and quieter occasions.
