Silver 925 ring with natural amethyst, size N.
About this piece
A charming vintage-style ring set with a rich purple amethyst in an oval mixed cut, held securely in a four-claw setting. The band is sterling silver (925), tapering slightly toward the shoulders, with a warm patina that speaks to gentle wear over time. In UK size N, it sits comfortably as a statement piece without overwhelming the hand.
The stone is notably clear and well-coloured, with good depth and lustre. The setting shows the hallmarks of mid-twentieth-century jewellery-making — straightforward, well-proportioned, and built to last. Amethyst was a popular choice in this era, valued both for its beautiful purple hue and its relative durability for everyday wear. The ring is in excellent condition, with only minor surface wear to the band consistent with regular use, and the stone remains secure and unmarked.
