About this piece
This modernist ring pairs polished sterling silver with a warm 9ct gold spiral motif that wraps one side of the bezel, framing a luminous green chrysoprase cabochon. The oval stone is smooth and glowing — characteristic of chrysoprase, a gentle apple-green chalcedony prized for its calming warmth. The geometric simplicity of the setting is pure 1970s: unfussy, sculptural, and built to last.
In UK size R (US 8½), the ring sits comfortably on a full hand. The silver shows expected patina and surface wear consistent with vintage wear, whilst the stone remains unscratched and translucent. The 9ct gold spiral retains good colour. We recommend a gentle clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid prolonged soaking or ultrasonic cleaning.
