sterling silver and amber ,with a Baltic amber Vintage Pendant
About this piece
A graceful heart-shaped pendant in sterling silver, centred with a polished oval cabochon of warm, honey-toned Baltic amber. The silver frame curves into elegant sweeping loops on either side — a design with Art Nouveau echoes, lending the piece romantic, organic appeal. The amber glows with deep reddish-brown tones and is set secure within a bezel, with the stone’s natural translucency visible where light passes through.
The pendant hangs from a substantial silver bale and shows minimal wear: the silver retains a soft lustre with gentle patina, and the amber is free from cracks or clouding. Baltic amber, prized for its warmth and durability, has been treasured in jewellery for centuries. This piece works beautifully worn on a chain or cord and suits both everyday wear and special occasions. A light polish with a soft cloth will restore shine; keep amber away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight to preserve its colour.
