Sterling Silver High Quality Ruby Earrings
About this piece
A handsome pair of drop earrings in sterling silver, each suspending a cushion-cut ruby of deep purplish-red. The stones are faceted to catch light beautifully, and sit securely in smooth bezels that frame them neatly. The plain, tapered posts have a gentle contemporary feel — practical and understated.
These earrings show excellent condition: the silver remains bright, the stones are clear and lustrous, and there is no loose movement in the settings. They move freely on their hinges for comfortable everyday wear. Rubies of this depth and clarity are relatively uncommon, making these a worthwhile vintage find for anyone who loves warm, rich colour against silver. We recommend a gentle cloth polish occasionally to maintain the silver’s patina.
