Typical Soviet sterling silver ring Uk size P
About this piece
A beautifully crafted Soviet-era ring in sterling silver, showcasing the distinctive twisted or rope-textured band work characteristic of mid-twentieth-century Eastern European jewellery. The design features layered bands with fine detail work, giving it substantial presence on the hand whilst remaining elegant and wearable. In UK size P, it sits comfortably on the middle or ring finger.
The ring shows excellent condition with light surface wear consistent with gentle, occasional wear over decades. The silver retains its lustre and the craftsmanship is evident in the clean execution of the twisted detailing. Soviet jewellery of this period is known for its solid construction and timeless aesthetic—neither overly ornate nor minimal, but thoughtfully proportioned. We recommend occasional gentle polishing with a soft cloth to maintain its brightness, and storage away from moisture.
