vintage Baltic amber sterling silver clip-on earrings
About this piece
A handsome pair of clip-on earrings showcasing warm, honey-toned Baltic amber in oval cabochon form, each stone set in a sterling silver bezel mount. The amber displays the characteristic depth and translucency of genuine Baltic stone, with rich cognac and golden hues throughout. Clip fastenings sit discreetly at the back, making these a practical choice if you prefer not to wear pierced studs.
Baltic amber jewellery has been cherished across northern Europe for centuries, and these mid-century pieces exemplify the restrained elegance of their era. The silver shows the expected patina of age and wear, adding to their authentic character. The stones remain bright and undamaged, and the clips operate smoothly. Simply polish the silver gently with a soft cloth to restore lustre; amber itself needs only warm soapy water and a pat dry.
