About this piece
A charming Soviet-era ring cast in 925 sterling silver, featuring a naturalistic grape-cluster motif rendered in three-dimensional relief. The design shows deft metalwork typical of mid-twentieth-century Soviet jewellery: organic forms with fine detailing and a satisfying heft in the hand. The band is plain and substantial, sitting comfortably under the sculptural head.
In UK size L, this ring wears well on most hands and is robust enough for daily wear. The silver shows the warm patina of age and use—surface marks visible in natural light are consistent with honest vintage wear rather than damage. The metal retains its brightness where it catches the light, and hallmarks confirm Soviet manufacture in quality sterling. A distinctive piece with genuine character and none of the overwrought sentiment of later reproductions.
