vintage sterling silver 835 stamp pretty dutch clog shoe fob charm pendant old
About this piece
A charming silver charm in the shape of a traditional Dutch clog, complete with a loop for attaching to a chain or bracelet. The piece is stamped 835, indicating continental silver (the European standard, slightly lower in fineness than British sterling at 925). The clog is finely detailed with a subtle ridge running lengthwise, capturing the characteristic shape of these iconic wooden shoes.
In excellent condition with only light surface patina consistent with age and gentle wear. The charm hangs freely from a sturdy loop and would sit beautifully on a delicate chain or charm bracelet. To maintain its lustre, simply polish occasionally with a soft cloth; for deeper cleaning, a silver dip or warm soapy water works well.
