About this piece
A striking Southwestern piece centred on a substantial oval green turquoise cabochon with natural dark matrix, held in a sawtooth bezel that catches the light with crisp, hand-stamped fan detailing on each shoulder. The bold proportions and graphic metalwork are characteristic of the mid-twentieth-century American Southwest tradition, where turquoise has long been prized for its colour and spiritual significance.
Tested as sterling silver 925, the ring shows the genuine patina of age: light surface wear and soft marks consistent with regular wear over decades. In UK size U (US 10), it sits as a confident statement piece rather than a delicate accent. We recommend gentle care with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid prolonged soaking and exposure to harsh chemicals, which can affect the stone’s lustre.
