About this piece
A pair of elegant drop earrings in sterling silver, each featuring a polished amethyst stone set within a graceful teardrop frame. The design is clean and timeless, with a smooth silver finish that complements the soft purple of the stones. Suspended from a simple post-and-scroll fitting, they hang at a gentle length — substantial enough to be noticed, yet refined enough for everyday wear.
The amethyst cabochons are set bezel-style, a classic technique that protects the stone while allowing light through. The earrings show excellent condition with minimal surface wear to the silver; the stones remain clear and vibrant. They are easy to fasten and sit comfortably on the ear. For care, a soft cloth will maintain the silver’s lustre; the stones need only gentle cleaning with warm soapy water.
