About this piece
A striking cocktail ring in sterling silver, set with a substantial square-cut black onyx stone. The stone is deeply lustrous and expertly faceted, mounted securely in a raised bezel that catches the light. The shoulders of the band feature delicate linear detailing stamped into the silver, a period touch that frames the stone without competing for attention.
In UK size O, the ring sits as a confident statement piece on the hand. The silver retains excellent lustre throughout, with only minor wear consistent with gentle, careful use over time. The onyx surface is clean and unblemished. This is a versatile vintage ring that works equally well for everyday wear or occasion dressing—the simplicity of its design means it won’t date, and the quality of the stone and setting speaks for itself. Sterling silver should be gently cleaned with a soft cloth; avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
