Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Rugby Enamel Shield Charm Warwickshire
About this piece
A handsome enamel charm celebrating rugby, the national game. The shield bears the Warwickshire coat of arms—a quartered design with a sun and castle in blue and red enamel—and reads “RUGBY” along the base. The whole is set in sterling silver with a decorative wavy border and a loop for suspension.
Made from solid 925 sterling silver and enamel, this piece has the weight and presence of jewellery from the mid-20th century, when sporting charms and local pride were woven into everyday wear. The enamel remains bright and well-defined, with only light surface wear to the metal consistent with gentle use over decades. A charming piece for the rugby enthusiast or the collector of English sporting memorabilia.
