Baltic Amber sterling silver earrings
About this piece
A pair of leverback earrings featuring polished amber cabochons, warm honey-brown in tone, set within stylised silver frames. The first pair shows a swept wing design wrapping around each stone; the second pair features a more geometric, leaf-like silhouette with textured detailing. Both are crafted in sterling silver and hang from traditional lever-closure findings.
Baltic amber is fossilised tree resin, prized for its warmth and organic quality. These earrings sit comfortably for everyday wear and suit both casual and dressier occasions. The amber shows good translucency and has developed a soft patina typical of vintage pieces. Sterling silver naturally darkens over time; gentle polishing with a soft cloth will restore lustre without damaging the amber. Store away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve the stone’s colour.
