925 Sterling Silver Earrings Oval Tanzanite Natural Gemstone Jewelry
About this piece
A stunning pair of stud earrings centred on smooth oval cabochon tanzanites in a rich purple hue, each stone surrounded by a halo of faceted white stones — likely cubic zirconia or similar — set in 925 sterling silver. The setting is secure and traditional, with the smaller accent stones arranged symmetrically around each focal stone to enhance its depth and presence.
Tanzanite is a relatively modern gemstone, discovered in Tanzania in the 1960s, and has become highly prized for its distinctive pleochroic purple-violet colour. These earrings are lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. The silver shows minor surface wear consistent with gentle use, whilst the stones remain bright and free from significant damage. We recommend storing them separately to prevent scratching, and cleaning gently with a soft cloth and lukewarm soapy water.
