Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Smokey Quartz Drop
Earring
About this piece
These charming drop earrings pair smooth cabochon stones with elegant silver wirework. Each features a rich, translucent smokey quartz cabochon — warm amber-brown tones with excellent transparency — set in a bezel and flanked by a decorative oval frame above. The bezel itself is banded with fine beaded detail, and small triangular finials below add a touch of classical geometry to the piece. The sterling silver construction is evident from the hallmark and the quality of the metalwork, with good definition to all ornamental elements.
The fish-hook ear wires are sturdy and well-finished, ready to wear immediately. The earrings sit comfortably in length and strike a lovely balance between substance and delicacy. Minor surface wear is consistent with age and gentle use; the stones are clean and lustrous. A pair that would suit both everyday wear and special occasions, and pairs beautifully with warm jewel tones or earth-toned wardrobes.
