About this piece
A graceful pendant showcasing three oval-cut peridots in warm greenish-yellow tones, each bezel-set in sterling silver and suspended vertically. The stones graduate slightly in size, creating an elegant linear design that draws the eye downward. The bail—added subsequently to the original piece—features an attractive twisted silver loop, allowing the pendant to hang freely on a chain.
Peridot, the olive-green gemstone of August, has been prized since antiquity for its gentle lustre and warm glow. This pendant’s straightforward construction and contemporary styling suggest mid-to-late 20th-century making. The piece shows excellent condition with minimal wear to the metal; the stones are bright and well-secured. A versatile length for layering or wearing alone, it complements both contemporary and vintage dress. Care for sterling silver with a soft cloth; avoid harsh chemicals and remove before swimming or bathing.
