Mystic Topaz Earrings-925 Sterling Silver
About this piece
A pair of drop earrings set with faceted mystic topaz stones in sterling silver. The oval cabochons — each displaying the characteristic colour-play of mystic topaz with flashes of purple, pink and blue-green — are bezel-set within rope-detailed frames. The leverback wires are articulated, allowing the drops to move gracefully. The stones catch the light beautifully, their faceted surfaces creating a jewel-like sparkle.
Sterling silver mystic topaz earrings like these represent popular jewellery-making of the past two decades, though similar styles have roots in vintage revival pieces from the 1970s onwards. Mystic topaz is created by coating the surface of natural topaz with a thin metallic layer, which produces those striking iridescent hues. The earrings are in excellent used condition with no visible damage to the settings or stones. We recommend storing them in a soft pouch when not worn to protect the topaz coating from scratches.
