Pendant “Silver Well”, miniature, vintage.
About this piece
This charming miniature pendant depicts a traditional wishing well, complete with a hinged lid and working screw mechanism. Crafted in silver-toned metal, it captures the period appeal of mid-twentieth-century novelty jewellery with impressive detail: the cylindrical body features a neat hatched band around the base, a screw-threaded interior mechanism, and a loop at the crown for suspension. The lid lifts to reveal the hollow interior — a playful nod to the well’s function.
The piece shows excellent condition with only light surface wear consistent with age and gentle use. The metal retains its lustre well, and the mechanism operates smoothly. A quirky charm pendant, equally at home on a bracelet or worn on a fine chain, this miniature makes a conversation-starting addition to a collector’s jewellery box or a nostalgic gift for anyone who loves vintage whimsy.
