Pendant badge mouse chick sandal
About this piece
A charming set of four small animal-themed charms or pendants, each cast in gilt metal with appealing character. The collection depicts a mouse with fine granulated detailing, a chick rendered in similar textured finish, a sandal with articulated sole, and a quirky textured pod or vessel form — all suspended from simple looped bails suited to chain or cord.
Each charm retains bright gilt colouring with the pleasant minor wear and surface variation of vintage metalware. The designs combine folk art sensibility with miniature sculptural precision, suggesting East European origin, possibly Soviet-era work. They hang freely and are ready to thread or attach. A delightful set for the collector of small curious objects, or to scatter across a favourite charm bracelet.
