925 Sterling Silver Amethyst Paving And Drop Pendant-5cm 5.72g
About this piece
A striking geometric pendant in sterling silver, built around a central square-cut amethyst surrounded by eight smaller stones in a formal paving pattern—four oval cabochons at the cardinal points and four round stones between them. The compass-like arrangement creates a visual focal point that catches light beautifully, characteristic of early-to-mid twentieth-century jewellery design.
Below the geometric top section hangs a slender silver stem accented with two spherical beads, terminating in a polished amethyst cabochon drop. The silver shows the characteristic patina and slight surface wear of genuine vintage wear, with hallmarks visible on the reverse. At 5cm in length and weighing 5.72g, it’s substantial enough to make a statement without heaviness. The craftsmanship suggests skilled hand-assembly; the open bezel settings allow the purple stones to glow when worn against skin or fabric. A timeless piece that suits both formal and everyday wear.
