sterling silver pendant set with a genuine Baltic amber stone
About this piece
A substantial rectangular pendant in sterling silver, bezel-set with a cognac-toned Baltic amber cabochon that glows warmly in natural light. The frame is smartly proportioned with a subtle border detail and a robust bale for secure wear on a chain or cord. Baltic amber, fossilised tree resin millions of years old, is prized for its rich honey-to-burgundy hues and is lighter than it appears.
This piece shows honest wear to the silver—a soft patina and minor surface marks consistent with regular, treasured use—but the amber remains clear and lustrous with no cracks or chips. The metalwork sits solid and well-finished. A versatile pendant that suits both everyday layering and occasion wear, and makes a thoughtful gift for amber enthusiasts. We recommend storing it away from direct sunlight to preserve the stone’s colour, and cleaning gently with a soft, dry cloth.
