About this piece
A beautifully crafted band from the Soviet era, rendered in 916 silver—a standard alloy favoured by USSR workshops for its durability and subtle warmth. The ring’s design is distinctive: a cutaway leaf or wave motif flows along the shoulders, while diamond-cut engraving adorns the inner surfaces, catching light with practised precision. The hallmark and maker’s mark confirm authentic production in a Soviet assay office.
In UK size R, this sits comfortably as a statement band or stacking piece. The metal shows the expected patina and light scratching from genuine daily wear—the soft lustre of silver that has lived a life. It requires only gentle care: a soft cloth and warm soapy water will maintain its character. A distinguished ring from an era celebrated for bold, architectural jewellery design.
