About this piece
These substantial silver earrings are built on a gently curved body decorated with elegant pierced floral and leaf scrollwork, deepened by oxidised detailing that catches the light beautifully. The design speaks to early–to–mid twentieth-century taste: the flowing organic forms are rooted in Art Nouveau sensibility, refined and simplified as was typical of the 1920s–1940s. At approximately 5g for the pair, they have a satisfying weight and presence on the ear.
Hallmarked 925 with a Ukrainian assay mark, they are secured by English lock (hinged) clasps — a reliable mechanism that has held for decades. The surface shows light wear and natural silver patina entirely consistent with age and genuine use; this is the honest marks of time, not damage.
