Adorable Vintage Sterling Silver 925 Puffy Hollow TEDDY BEAR Pin Brooch
About this piece
A charming solid sterling silver brooch modelled as a seated teddy bear, its rounded form given three-dimensional appeal through skilled hollow casting. The bear sits upright with paws raised in a cheerful pose, wearing a tiny bow tie at its neck. Every detail — from the softly modelled face with defined snout to the articulated limbs — speaks of mid-twentieth-century craftsmanship, when such whimsical animal brooches were beloved novelties.
The piece shows light surface wear consistent with gentle wear and age, with a soft patina that enhances its vintage character. The hollow construction keeps it lightweight and comfortable to wear pinned to a lapel, collar or jacket. As sterling silver, it will benefit from occasional polishing to restore lustre, and should be stored in a dry place to prevent tarnishing.
